1. Nothing here is an advertisement or solicitation

The rules of the Bar Council of India prohibit advocates from advertising or soliciting work. This website is not an advertisement, a solicitation, or an inducement of any kind.

The material here is published for general information only. By accessing it you acknowledge that you are seeking information about us of your own accord, that no advocate–client relationship is created by your use of this site, and that we have not solicited your visit.

2. About the pricing shown on this site

This is the section most people are looking for, so it is stated plainly.

• Every price shown is an indicative professional fee for a standard matter of that type.
• Prices may change at any time without notice. The figure on the site at the moment you read it is not a binding offer.
• Your actual quote may be higher or lower once we have seen your documents and understood the specifics of your matter. Complexity, urgency, the authority involved and the state you are in all affect it.
• Government fees, statutory charges, stamp duty, court fees, registry and filing fees, digital signature costs and any third-party professional charges are NOT included in the price shown. They are payable at actuals and are separate.
• Goods and Services Tax applies on professional fees at the rate then in force, and is additional unless a price is expressly marked as inclusive.
• Where a service shows "Charges on enquiry", it is quoted case by case and no standard fee exists.
• Prices in currencies other than the rupee, shown for services outside India, are indicative and subject to exchange rate movement and to the fees the relevant foreign authority charges.
• A binding quote is the written confirmation we send you before starting work. Nothing on this website is that confirmation.

3. What we do and do not undertake

• We provide professional assistance with legal, documentation, registration and compliance matters.
• We are not a government department, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any authority.
• We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome. Approvals, registrations and orders are granted by the relevant authority at its discretion.
• Timelines given are realistic estimates based on experience. They depend on the authority concerned and are not commitments.
• We do not guarantee that an application will be accepted, that a licence will be granted, or that a matter will succeed.

4. Your responsibilities

Where an application fails, is delayed or is rejected because information you gave us was inaccurate or incomplete, the professional fee remains payable and any government fee already spent is not recoverable.

• Provide accurate, complete and genuine documents and information.
• Tell us promptly if anything you have given us changes or turns out to be wrong.
• Pay government fees and statutory charges when they fall due.
• Respond within the time allowed where an authority raises a query, since many deadlines cannot be extended.
• Not ask us to submit anything false, forged or misleading. We will decline and may cease acting.

5. Fees, payment and refunds

• Professional fees are payable as set out in the written confirmation for your matter.
• Government fees and statutory charges are payable at actuals, in addition, and are non-refundable once paid to the authority.
• Where we have begun work, professional fees are payable for the work done even if you decide not to proceed.
• A refund of professional fees, where offered, is at our discretion and is limited to work not yet performed.
• We do not refund a fee because an authority refused an application, since the professional work was still carried out.

6. Accuracy of the information on this site

The guides on this site describe legal and regulatory requirements in general terms. Law, thresholds, fees and deadlines change, sometimes at short notice, and the position may differ for your particular facts and your state.

Nothing here is legal or professional advice, and you should not act on it without taking advice on your own circumstances. We make no warranty that the information is current, complete or applicable to you, and we accept no liability for action taken on it without advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any engagement is limited to the professional fee paid to us for the matter concerned.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or business, or for delay or refusal by any authority. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or professional misconduct.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including the service guides, is our original work and is protected by copyright. You may read and share it for your own reference. You may not reproduce it commercially, republish it, or present it as your own.

Third-party names, statutes, forms and authorities referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and are named only to describe the services accurately.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place where our office is situated in Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from our services.

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies. Material changes affecting an ongoing engagement will be communicated to you directly.
